New update brings real-time route weather tracking and Dynamic Island integration to iPhone users, fundamentally changing how drivers stay aware of weather conditions during their journey.
The new update introduces "Go Now" mode, which automatically updates the weather forecast during driving, based on the user position and the route they take. It automatically updates the forecast and highlights dangerous weather conditions, such as risk of icy roads or storm alerts.
Weather on the Way is not a navigation app, but instead it's made to work seamlessly with all of them. Weather on the Way 2.0 adds support for Live Activities, which means that for iPhones with Dynamic Island, you can see the upcoming weather right above your turn by turn directions in any app. The Live Activity shows the upcoming conditions and presents of weather alerts and how long along they can be expected for.
Instead of competeing with navigation apps, such as Google or Apple Maps, Weather on the Way compliments them thanks to Dynamic Island. Users can see both the directions and the weather ahead, without swiching between two apps during driving.
Weather on the Way helps thousands of users plan their trip and stay safe on the road, by providing weather forecast along the route. The app helps avoid storms, find the best time to leave and route to take and stay safe on the road.
Weather on the Way is free to download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and supports CarPlay. A PRO subscription unlocking additional features is available for $4.99 monthly, $20 annually, or as a one-time purchase of $84.99.
